For people with disability, enjoying a movie may not be as simple as an impromptu trip to the cinema. Going to a concert may not be as simple as buying a ticket and turning up. And opportunities to progress your own artistic talent can be limited if you have a disability.

Accessible Arts promotes full inclusion, access and cultural opportunities for people with disability in the arts - through advocacy, education and information.

How will the funds be used?

Your donation will help us open doors to the world of culture and arts, not only to aspiring artists with disability but to those who want the freedom to enjoy an enriched life through an involvement with the arts - be it high-end theatre or simply watching TV.

Key areas of expenditure

Access to the arts shouldn't be a privilege available only to some of the community Accessible Arts, as the peak arts and disability body in NSW, works to expand audience development, support people with disability who want to become professional artists, train arts workers, develop opportunities for people with disability to express their creativity and provide forums for work produced for and by people with disability and about disability.
