The ABIA is seeking funds to support and educate families carers and professionals caring for or working with a child with an autism spectrum disorder and to help raise the profile of autism spectrum disorder in general
The funds will be used to:
- Give support: via phone to parents/carers and professionals interested in behavioral programs for children with an autism spectrum disorder
- Provide information: through information kits, website and other printed material
- Education: regular working, information nights and specific programs for individuals with an autism spectrum disorder and their families.
Key Areas of Expenditure
To contribute to the cost of developing, printing and distributing material that informs and educate about autism spectrum disorder and the ABIA
To provide telephone support service for families/ carers and professionals
To maintain existing educational programs workshops and information evenings
