Java web application developer

We require a Java web developer for Australia's leading donations website, GiveNow.com.au. The role involves building new features for donors and for administration staff, and you will be responsible for both the web user interface and the Java business logic code of those new features. There are opportunities for you to work on a Swing GUI if you are skilled in that area.

You'll be working in a very small but professional team in West Melbourne, on the edge of the CBD. You will be the primary developer for much of the work — with some oversight but plenty of autonomy and an expectation that you can manage your own work.

Skills

• Strong Java knowledge is essential
• Strong HTML and CSS knowledge is essential
• Experience in Spring MVC 3 and Hibernate 3 is desirable
• Experience with Swing would be nice, but not expected
