How GiveNow can help at Tax Time

One of the ways that GiveNow.com.au is helping Australians to be better givers is through the My Giving function.
My Giving is the only place in Australia where you can track your donations to any number of your favourite causes throughout the year and from year to year.
My Giving also helps make tax time much easier. Currently, up to 64% of Australians who donate to a community group don’t claim a tax deduction at the end of the financial year – donating through GiveNow.com.au will make claiming a tax deduction a whole lot simpler!
Log in to your My Giving account each time you want to make a donation, and we’ll keep track of them all for you.
Come tax time, we’ll send you an email listing all your donations made that financial year – including those eligible for tax deductions. You can use this record when compiling your tax return. This will be a duplicate of the tax receipts you will receive every time you make a donation.
If, at any other time during the year, you need a copy of a donation receipt just log in to My Giving, select the transaction in your donations history and generate a receipt for yourself.
No more storage of receipts for a whole year, no more little bits of paper – just one receipt, from one place, listing all of your donations, sent through to you at tax time, right when you need it.
