Printing Fund

We are a group of individuals (writers, philosophers and artists) who have recently formed an organisation called The Stage/Absolute Pitch. We produce a freely distributed periodical that seeks to address the theatrical nature of contemporary public life.

At the heart of The Stage's self-conception is the aim to promote an understanding of the political theatre of our times and the social neuroses that accompany it. Our aim is to exemplify a truly democratic way of addressing our fellow citizens, and to render perceptible, by contrast, the problems that afflict mainstream modes of publication for profit.

We have produced a highly successful first edition of The Stage and are currently seeking funding to publish further editions. We cannot afford to arrange subscription funding, since we are a non-profit community organisation, however, any contribution by donors would be greatly appreciated.
