The Young at Art Initiative is ran under the umbrella of Children's Charity Network, this initiative was implemented in 2005 after our Organisation learned that the youth of Australian have very little if any access to quality art programs, it is for this reason that we implemented the young at art initiative, to encourage the youth to participate in the arts, knowingly that they would no longer have their artwork going unrecognized.

More about Young at Art

Now the inaugural year has passed it is time for our initiative to grow wings and send artists and illustrators throughout Australia conducting a series of specially designed workshops for the youth, for the tours to be implemented we are in search of corporate and philanthropic support.

These tours will run along side out Young at Art website, which urges children to submit a image version of their artwork where it is judged by our judges, Craig Smith who is a illustrator, Marjorie Gardiner who is a painter and illustrator and Anne Spudvillas who is a portrait painter and illustrator, all of our judges our renowned for their exemplary work and this therefore shows that the judging process if nothing short of professional.

Imagine the hype that a youth would gather from having leading Australian, Artists, Illustrators, Graphic Designers or Photographers teaching them how to better improve their artistic skills, without these kinds of initiatives the arts in Australia could not go on being as great as it is, with resources for our youth being spread thin, it is programs like that arts that are put on the back burner as the funding is allocated elsewhere, this is happening in far too many areas of Australia for it to be ignored any longer, so to ensure that the arts remain on such a high level in Australia we must act now and encourage our youth to participate in the arts.

How will the funds be used?
