Help the ALSO Foundation assist the cultural growth of the GLBTIQ community. For 30 years the ALSO foundation has been supporting and developing the new, formative and grass roots community groups, advocating for their equal profile and opportunities, assisting them become self-sufficient, sustainable and successful, as well as recognising and responding to the Community's needs through investing in the areas that ensure a better quality of life for GLBTIQ people. ALSO currently gives 12 community groups a home, invests in almost all the major GLBTIQ cultural events to ensure new opportunities become available for the community. The ALSO Foundation during its history has been instrumental in creating and developing of some of the mainstay service providers that we have today such as the Victorian Aids Council, Gay & Lesbian Switchboard, Midsumma Festival, and Minus 18.

How will the funds be used?

You contribution will directly assist us support the smaller community groups to whom who we give office spaces and much needed infrastructure. The Fund also provisions new and smaller groups to get professional assistance for all the legal, financial and marketing pitfalls that arise in the community sector, as well as professional development and training to secure their sustainability. The Fund will also invest in the cultural development of our community by sponsoring important cultural events and research into the community. Donating to ALSO's Community Development Fund is investing in a stronger, safer and more inclusive tomorrow for Victoria's GLBTIQ Community.
