Most Indigenous communities in Australia have longstanding problems with the management of the health and welfare of animals in their communities - and little to no resources, education or professional help to change the situation.
We are now seeking funds to support the delivery of companion animal health programs.
How will the funds be used?
We are looking to raise money for education and veterinary programs as the most common problems relate to animal welfare and public nuisance. They include overpopulation from uncontrolled dog breeding ; visibly diseased; malnourished and dying dogs; parasites; constant noise and rubbish; and public saftey concerns with dog bite injuries - to children in particular - from aggressive animals.
