Anam Cara Outback Adventure 2012

Anam Cara House Geelong is a community service providing residential care for people affected by a life-limiting illness, and respite for carers. Anam Cara provides support, information, counselling, complementary therapies and bereavement care to its guests and their supporters. Run by a tiny dedicated staff and backed by an amazing network of volunteers, Anam Cara provides this specialised respite and end of life care free of charge.

Anam Cara's major fundraising initiative is the annual Anam Cara Outback Adventure. Participants have the opportunity to take a ten day adventure of a lifetime to the Simpson Desert lead by a team of experienced 4WD outback travellers.

Participants must provide their own vehicles and cover all costs including petrol, food and accommodation. A $400 per person donation allows you to 'tag along' on the Outback Adventure with 100% of funds going directly to Anam Cara House Geelong. The donation per car is capped at $1200 but we welcome any additional donations!
