Families in the outback have suffered both financially and emotionally over the last five drought stricken years. This appeal is to raise money to ensure as many families as possible in the outback can celebrate Christmas in a way that most families would take for granted.
How will the funds be used?
Funds raised will provide Christmas food hampers as well as gifts for struggling families in the outback. Gifts will be provided for adults as well as children.
Key Areas of Expenditure
Christmas foods e.g. tinned ham, Christmas cakes, Christmas puddings, long life custard, tinned fruit, bon bons, sweets etc.
Christmas gifts for adults e.g new clothing, cosmetics, toiletries etc.
Christmas gifts for children e.g. new clothing, new toys, stuffed animals etc.
Are donations tax deductible? Yes
