"Sponsor a Laptop" provides a laptop  directly to individuals  in need via their support agencies . $200 will assist us to give a person a refurbished laptop  with MS Windows 11 and other mainstream software applications. $30 will asisst us with the handling and postage of a laptop.

B2C Community IT is a ‘social enterprise”  of the WERX Foundation committed to 

• assisting community support agencies and their clients iwith quality refurbished laptops ,
• providing business and the community with IT waste management solutions by reducing the amount of IT waste entering landfill, and offering a positive social outcome for their re useable equipment

How will the funds be used?

We receive many requests from individuals and groups for the supply/donation of  Laptops at no cost. As a social enterprise to maintain our existence we generate our own funding by sorting/refurbishing and selling the  IT equipment we receive. In most cases the agencies and clients have received funding to assist with the purchase 

Our Sponsorship Program enables us to assist provide laptops  for any  requests where there is no funding available 

What sort of machine is provided ?

The laptops we provide have been fully tested and refurbished and come with MS Windows, SoftMaker FreeOffice and have  virus protection and are internet ready.

Costs of the refurbishment of the computers (pick up, assessment, licenses and refurbishment)

Costs associated with environmentally responsible recycling of the non useable components.
