Bass Coast Community Health Services mission is to provide quality accessible community health/primary care services to our community. This is achieved through the provision of primary and community health services locally. Fees vary according to income and an individual's ability to pay, as we are a not for profit organisation a majority of our income is raised through funding, fundraising and donations like yours.

Some of these service provisions include but are not restricted to:

Allied Health - Physiotherapy, counselling, podiatry/foot care, occupational therapy, dietician and social workers

Drug & Alcohol support - Youth - Rural Outreach Diversion Worker (RODW), pharmacotherapy, counselling support, rehab and withdrawal

Community Services - Making a difference program MADP, Community Aged Care Package (CACP), disability planning, community gardens and Health promotion.

Youth Child & Family Services - Maternal and Child Health Nurse, enhanced home visiting, social worker, playgroup facilitator, Best start

Nursing - Diabetes education, district nursing, palliative care, women's health, men's health, health coaching and Chronic Disease Management Programs

Corporate - Baby capsule hire, occupational therapy aids and medical equipment hire, client transport, emergency relief assistance with fuel, food and utilities, volunteer program

Demand has increased due to the ongoing population growth and the closure of the local hospital on Phillip Island, and with our vision for all Bass Coast community members to achieve better health outcomes, we need your help.

How will the funds be used?

Every dollar counts and can make a big difference to a member of the community and assist them to lead an everyday life in good health.

We will ensure your donation will assist Bass Coast Community Health Service to increase our service provision and deliver high quality health care to our community.

Your donation will assist in increasing existing services and developing new initiatives and programs to full fill the health needs identified within the Bass Coast.

You will be providing support and reassurance to someone not unlike yourself ensuring access to health services delivered locally with a personal individualised approach.

Bass coast community health service will accept tied donations to support particular departments, for resources, new programs or medical equipment if preferred.
