Beyond Disability Support Fund

With the support of local volunteers, we are raising funds to assist housebound, elderly and mobility less abled to get online with dignity in their own homes using recycled computers and our low cost internet service.

We wish to help participants to have an affordable means with which they can be better informed about services and just to have some fun. "Internet empowerment" will be a bridge for participants to gain a better perspective of the community. The Beyond Disability program facilitates community participation and incorporates our programs "Elderly Citizens Online" and "Wheelie Kids IT".

How will the funds be used?

The funds will be used to further the education and participation of all disabled people - both adults and children with a mobility disability.

The funds will provide us with the ability to refurbish recycled computers and to build the special computers to enable voice activated software to be used.

Funds will also help us provide adaptive aids and equipment to suit the clients needs and to provide desks to enable clients in wheelchairs. Laptop computers will also be purchased for children in wheelchairs to enable them to participate in they're respective schools, on an equal level.
