Biala is a provider of quality day care for the elderly and adults with disabilities within our values. Biala is an incorporated community based organisation providing services for the aged and people with a disability.
Biala Centre Based Day Care for the Aged - Biala provides centre based day care for the frail aged, this service is for people who live in the east Lake Macquarie area who are living at home. We have wheel chair accessible vehicles. Transport is provided for clients who live in the east Lake Macquarie area.
Peer Support for People with Disability - Biala peer support provides social support programs for people with a disability aged 16 to 64 years who live at home in the Lake Macquarie and Newcastle areas. Support is provided to the client as well as giving a break to the carer.
Biala offers carers a break from their caring role. We also provide links to support, information and advocacy services.
