Hope Bereavement Care (Hope) is a Geelong Based not-for-profit that passionately belives that no-one should be alone in their grief.
Hope offers free information, support, groupwork and counselling when grieving a traumatic or sudden and unexpected death, the loss of a baby or child and those experiencing loss after suicide. Support is assessable to anyone experiencing the loss of a loved one and those in the wider community who may be caring for them.
Hope does not receive any government or recurrent funding and is supported the community.
After decades of providing free support and caring, Hope Bereavement Care now needs our community's support to continue our vital work.
With more and more people needing our help, for the first time in our history, we have a long wait list for our essential services.
Our HOPE’s 100 campaign aims to find compassionate Geelong people to support us to reduce the wait time for our services. Your valued and crucial donation will help us raise funds to provide more of our much-needed counselling services.
Please make a one-off or regular monthly, quarterly or annual $100 donation.
We thankyou for your suport
'No words can describe how valuable having an organisation like HOPE Bereavement in Geelong is - for people like me, others who attend the SPAN Walk and even to those who are yet to be touched by suicide. Unfortunately, Hope isn’t government funded and rely heavily on the support of the Geelong Community. The best way to sum up my experience with HOPE is that they literally gave me Hope for my future.” Benny
