Support children from poor communities in Bangalore to have access to a life-changing education and for projects in their areas to support their families with health, water, and income generating activities.
Through a combination of education and community development initiatives your support will help the people living in slums and remote quarry villages in and around Bangalore have access to services and programs that empower them to break the cycle of poverty they are in. Your donation will help people receive training enabling them to find secure employment, or to start their own business, or to have access to free medical care to address life-threatening illness and disease.
- $30 will provide an education pack for a child including a uniform, books and a bag to kick-start their education
- $70 will support a community development officer for one month. These people make all of the program activities possible, including setting up health camps, running savings groups and encouraging parents to send their children to school.
- $300 will provide medications for a village medical camp
- $1,500 will run a vocational training centre for one year, training up to 100 men and women in skills they can use to generate their own income
