Across South-East Queensland, many single mothers and their children are facing increasing housing insecurity. Some are working,  and doing everything they can to stay afloat, yet rising housing costs, limited housing options and domestic violence leave them at risk of losing their stability.

At Her Solid Ground, we believe that every woman deserves a solid ground to stand on and the opportunity to build a brighter future. Our vision is to create small, supportive housing communities that provide stable transitional accommodation alongside practical support that fosters confidence, independence, and long-term stability.

Today, we are laying the foundations. Donations will help us establish the charity, undertake community consultation, develop partnerships, secure housing opportunities, and work towards creating our first transitional housing community for women and children.
