The new Can-Do Fund is to support the purchase of equipment that enables people to reach their goals.
Your donation will help us buy garden tools to make gardens grow. It will buy paint to bring art exhibitions into flower. Picnic baskets will be filled with food for outings to the bush. CDs will get everyone dancing.

How will the funds be used?
Each year, Alkira struggles to find the $80,000 we need to purchase the equipment that brings happiness and satisfaction. Too often we have to ask people to modify their dreams to meet the budget. The Can-Do Fund will support the opportunities our people have to achieve. It will also free up scarce funds to enable Alkira to save for other important needs - like respite and permanent supported accommodation.
Key Areas of Expenditure
Purchase of equipment including everything from sporting equipment to gardening tools.
Hire of venues for special activities (eg. dancing classes)
Hire of specialist staff (eg. horse riding instructors)
