The Conservation Council ACT Region works to protect our environment through advocacy, community engagement and campaigning.

We campaign to cut greenhouse emissions, protect biodiversity in our urban and natural areas, protect and enhance our waterways, reduce our waste and improve urban sustainability, and improve public and active transport in our city.

As the peak body, we advocate on behalf of and support our member groups - grassroots local envrionment groups who work every day to build a better envrionment in the ACT and region.

Funds go directly to our campaigns - protecting endangered grasslands and woodlands, stopping the use of fossil fuel gas, phasing out single-use plastic, building a circular economy, and zero emissions transport for our city.
