Community Arts Appeal

Queensland Arts Council envisions a future where all Queenslanders have access to the arts to enhance their community's sense of unity, strength and well-being.

Evidence suggests that access to and participation in the arts yields significant personal benefits including skills development, broadening of social networks and a resulting increase in confidence.

The benefits to communities are simple: the arts bring people together. In fact, participation in arts-related activities has been shown to strengthen people's commitment to places and their engagement in tackling problems.

This year Queensland Arts Council is looking to raise over half of its income from non-government sources.

You can play a part in helping create rich and vibrant regional communities by making a contribution to our valuable work.

How will the funds be used?

Your gift will be used to deliver QAC's capacity-building services, visual and performing arts experiences to children and communities throughout Queensland, many of whom would otherwise be deprived of such opportunities.
