Communication is vital. Sharing a conversation or discussion with others is what makes life interesting and worthwhile. Accessing everyday information in an understandable format is a right that many of us take for granted.
For over 90 years, the Deaf Society of NSW has provided Auslan (Australian Sign Language) interpreters, community support workers and educators to ensure Deaf people can access services and information in the same way as hearing people.
How will the funds be used?
To enable Deaf people, including those who may have additional disabilities such as visual impairment, cerebral palsy or development delay, to participate in everyday life.
Are donations tax deductible? Yes
Will I receive a receipt for my donation?
Yes, it will be issued by Deaf Society of NSW a little while after your donation.
