Dress for Success is a global, volunteer powered, not-for-profit with a vision of a world where a woman’s disadvantage no longer means her unemployment. We offer long-lasting solutions that empower women to achieve financial independence and alleviate poverty, by providing a network of support, professional attire, and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

Dress for Success Sydney supports more than 3,000 women across NSW every year. Our signature styling service and suite of career support offerings help women overcome bias and discrimination when entering or re-entering the workforce - at no cost to the women needing our services.

Our clients often overcome a great deal even before walking through our doors.

Most women we support need help to relaunch their career after redundancy, a challenging job search due to gender, age or cultural bias, the lack of opportunity in rural areas, a health crisis, divorce, domestic violence, or bias faced by the LGBTQIA+ community and individuals with a disability. We also offer services for women in corrective facilities, and work to reduce the stigma for women with criminal records.

Headquartered in Marrickville in Sydney's Inner West, and with branches in Illawarra and Newcastle, most of our programs and services can be accessed online across NSW.

Our signature styling service provides professional styling and presentation tips for women needing quality clothing for their interview, at no cost to the women needing our service. During a one-hour session women are not only provided with clothing, but also a supportive environment to build their confidence and resilience on their job hunting journey.

Our career support services provide a full program of job search and personal development workshops, hosted by experts in their field. Women can participate live online, or watch a selection of workshops on demand. We also provide 1:1 support such as resume assistance, interview practice, and career coaching, for women to not only jet a job, but also to thrive in their new role.
