Tragically 2,600 men die a year from prostate cancer and yet often the result could be different with early detection. Men however are reluctant to talk about their health issues. This local support group aims to change that by publicising the importance of early detection of prostate problems, especially cancer.
How will the funds be used?
The group aims to raise awareness for diseaseThe funds will be used for administration and publicity of the Diamond Valley Prostate Cancer Support Group. This will be done in conjunction with Prostate Awareness Australia and Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia, as appropriate.

Administration - stationary, postage, phone calls etc.
