Eastern Respite & Recreation are seeking financial assistance to enhance the support provided through its respite and recreations programs for people with disabilities and their families.

How will the fuinds be used?

Eastern Respite and Recreation aim to use funds raised to assist people with disabilities to:

  • develop new skills
  • access the community
  • increase independent skills
  • get involved in recreational activities
  • develop social networks
  • develop a positive role within their family
And their parents and carers to:
  • be have a break from their caring role
  • develop support networks within the community
  • obtain information, knowledge and new skills in support of their caring role

Key Areas of Expenditure

to fund recreation and transportation costs for consumers
to fund respite staff salaries and additional costs
to fund ongoing administration costs in support across all consumer programs
