Focal provides community access support to between 20 and 30 people with a disability. This involves assisting them to participate in sporting, living skill and social activities just as you or I enjoy these activities. We need to provide access to differing and sometimes challenging activities that will bring growth and development into the life of a person with a disability. To do this takes funds and resources that, for us, are limited. Having dunsa available to offer these services in the community would mean that we are able to assist in practicle ways that would make a meaningful difference in their lives.
How will the funds be used?
Funds raised will be used to purchase specialised equiptment and to pay for fees and expenses related to various activites. Cost of transportation can be a burden too and funds raised will be used to assist in the transport and travel costs of clients and community members.
