Friends-R-4 aims to raise funds in order to:
- provide funding for urgent medical research
- purchase desperately required equipment at local institutions and centres
- provide assistance to cancer sufferers and their families
- help promote the prevention and awareness of skin cancer
How will the funds be used?
Funds raised by Friends-R-4 will be directed towards specific projects being undertaken at various institutions such as the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Royal Melbourne Hospital, Royal Children's Hospital and Ronald MacDonald House. These projects include medical research projects, new medical equipment purchases as well as other projects geared towards achieving the objectives stated above.
