FSHD Global Research Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to finding a treatment and cure for FSHD (Fascioscapulohumeral Dystrophy).
A 2009 study by Orphanet entitled 'Prevalence of rare diseases: A bibliographic Study' lists FSHD as one of the most prevalent forms of muscular dystrophy.
Our mission is to increase the rate of global research into FSHD as well as encourage significant global fund-raising to support these research projects.
FSHD Global Research Foundation is currently funding seventeen programs in 6 countries. Details can be found on www.fshdglobal.org
