FYA's ruMAD? appeal

Education Foundation, a division of The Foundation for Young Australians, has launched this appeal to allow young people to take part in the ruMAD? (are you Making a Difference?) program. ruMAD? is an educational toolkit that enables young people to lead social change and become active citizens. It is focused on values and led by students but benefits the whole community.

How will the funds be used?

Every dollar donated will go towards rolling out the ruMAd? framework across Australia, sparking hundreds of youth-led social change projects. Your support enables students and young people to access the program free of charge through public schools and community organisations.

Donating to this appeal will enable our qualified staff to visit schools and community organisations to train teachers and facilitators to run ruMAD? with young people in their community. This 'train the trainer' approach builds skills within each school and community group making ruMAD? a sustainable and ongoing program. Your support will also allow ruMAD? participants across the country to access and share information and resources 24/7 through the ruMAD? online community.
