Girl Guides NSW & ACT
To make the benefits of Guides accessible to girls and young women throughout NSW and the ACT, especially those in disadvantaged, rural and remote communities and those who speak a language other than English.
How will the funds be used?
To support our Youth Leadership Program, which enables girls and young women to develop resourcefulness, independence, leadership, teamwork and work-related skills.
Key Areas of Expenditure
Supporting Membership Development Officers in disadvantaged, rural & remote communities.
Making Guiding more accessible by translating brochures into community languages and offering training to volunteer Leaders speaking those languages.
Funding training for adult volunteers and attendance for girls and young women at leadership courses offered by Guides and other organisations.
