Wheels for Wheels Appeal

Each year over 1200 people with a disability, injury, or illness access the many services offered by Horizon Foundation Inc. We have an excellent record of achievement and continually strive to provide the highest quality service we can for all of our service users. Horizon works with children through to adults and across all categories of various disabilities including people with an intellectual, physical and/or mental illness.

Our focus is on providing opportunities to enhance and enrich the lifestyle of our service users through day programs, one on one support, therapy, educational and employment programs and therapy services.

How will the funds be used?

We are currently raising funds through the Wheels for Wheels appeal to replace a fully modified vehicle that provides transportation access for clients in wheelchairs. The current vehicle urgently needs replacing due to its age and the cost of repairs which is no longer economical. A replacement vehicle will cost approximately $66,000. A big cost however providing one makes a big difference to the lives of our clients so they can participate in community activities.
