brJewish Community Services supports people in need in South Australia's Jewish Community. It supplies extensive services and facilities to the aged, and information, advocacy, counselling and emergency, short term financial help where necessary.
The Aged Care Services comprise domestic assistance, meals, invaluable social integration and healthy living programs.
The importance of these culturally based aid programs cannot be underestimated particularly with regard to the emotional well-being of the elderly in this community.
JCS also provides support for new immigrants including financial help, housing, finding jobs and English language skills.
Jewish Community Services relies on Community funding and support to continue and further these valuable endeavours.
