Developing Skills: From job readiness and industry‑specific training to workplace preparation and mentoring, our programs equip jobseekers with the skills employers need today - and the capabilities to grow long‑term careers. Our social enterprise cafe’s are a key component of this strategy, creating direct jobs for Mob and providing accredited hospitality training - all whilst platforming First Nations foods & knowledge systems, cultures, and procurement opportunities.
3. Strengthening Connection: Connection to Culture, Community and trusted relationships are central to a persons wellbeing. Killara’s place‑based model is focused on co-designing safe spaces for Mob and allies across Naarm, creating pathways to supported Eldership, and elevating truth-telling and cultural histories through various activations.
