Look Good...Feel Better

All monies raised for Look Good...Feel Better will enable more cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy to experience the benefits associated with a Look Good…Feel Better workshop.

Each workshop teaches women how to cope with the appearance related side-effects of cancer brought on by chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Our target over the next 12 months is to reach over 10,000 cancer patients and to help them through, what could be the toughest journey of their life.

How will the funds be used?

Funds raised through this appeal will be used to achieve our goal by:

• Increasing the availability of workshops in rural and remote areas
• Increasing the number of workshops and locations in metro areas
• Extending the workshop experience to cancer patients in extremely remote areas by providing materials for a home help support package

Key areas of expenditure for funds donated:

The cosmetic industry generously provides all of the products used at the workshops - with each participant receiving products specific to their particular requirements. However, for cancer patients to receive the maximum benefits of their workshop experience there are other areas that require funding.

• Mirrors
• Look Good…Feel Better bags
• Educational and support material
• Volunteer training programs

Our Look Good…Feel Better workshops are provided totally free of charge to cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy - but the results are priceless.
