Liz Stringer’s powerful To Survive tour is more than just a chance to share her latest emotive,
piano-driven release. The 17-date national tour doubles as a campaign to spotlight Australia’s
growing housing crisis and raise critical funds for those most in need.
Liz is proud to be linking up with Quercus Beechworth Neighbourhood House to help raise funds and awareness for people experiencing homelessness or housing stress in the Beechworth community and surrounding areas.
At Quercus Beechworth Neighbourhood House, we believe everyone deserves a safe place to call home. We are dedicated to tackling homelessness and housing insecurity within our local community through compassionate outreach, practical support, and long-term solutions. Our work includes accessing emergency accommodation, advocacy, tenancy support, food distribution, and helping individuals connect with vital services like healthcare, mental health support, and employment opportunities. By standing alongside the most vulnerable, we foster resilience, inclusion, and hope. Whether through donating, volunteering, or spreading awareness, we invite everyone to join us in creating a future where no one is left without a home.
For more information please visit the Quercus Beechworth website.
All donations received by Quercus Beechworth Neighbourhood House will go directly towards the work we do within our local community, providing support to those experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity through practical assistance, advocacy, and pathways to long-term stability.
Thank you for your support!
A message from Liz
As an artist who's toured all corners of Australia for many years now, the growing wealth
disparity and impact of the housing crisis in this country has never been more obvious to me.
Housing is a human right and yet, because of years of policy decisions and a lack of forward
thinking, an increasing number of Australians are either already homeless or experiencing
chronic housing insecurity. It's never sat right with me that a country as rich as Australia should allow a section of its constituents to live so precariously while others become more and more wealthy. I'm helping to facilitate my audience to support their communities in the hope that it further shines a bright light on the issues facing vulnerable Australians everywhere.
Homelessness and housing stress can impact anyone at any time and, I feel that I have a social responsibility to communities, who have been so good to me over the years, to provide support for those people where I can.
If you have the means to contribute, every donation is appreciated. There will be a chance to meet the people of Quercus Beechworth Neighbourhood House at the show, and to talk about ways you can get involved or lend further support.
