Make a Difference Appeal

Make a Difference is a charity dedicated to assisting children and young people who may be disadvantaged in relation to their peers. We focus our efforts in 3 main areas:

• Grants for families who are in serious difficulty due to crises such as major illness, circumstances of tragedy or loss, or domestic violence
• Programs of support for those who have a parent who has a mental illness
• Programs to inspire change in children who have experienced multiple long suspensions from primary school, or have been removed from the mainstream school system

Make a Difference is a 'charity of last resort', only becoming involved if no other charity can assist. We frequently assist the poorest of the poor, and families with the most difficult problems. No one in the organisation is paid, which means all donations directly benefit the children and young people.
