There are a surprising number of elderly people in our community that cannot afford the care they need and deserve in their final years. Even those of us who consider ourselves "comfortably off" can struggle to afford the costs associated with 24 hour care (purpose built accommodation, prepared meals, laundry, nursing, pharmaceuticals and physical therapy - to name a few expenses). The Maurice Zeffert Home offers world renowned residential aged care, integrating Jewish customs and traditions, BUT only with the assistance of our wonderful benefactors. Right now, your support can make a significant difference to the life of an elderly member of our community.
How will the funds be used?
The Aged Care Sector is heavily regulated by the Federal Government, which in itself adds to the already stretched cost structure and constrains our ability to recoup our costs. Your generous donation is essential to our capital programme, allowing us to keep our equipment up-to-date, as well as allowing us t offer an enhanced activity programme. Your donation can make a significant positive difference to the life of an elderly resident!
