For 43 years Mother of God Primary School has actively served the wider Banyule community and continues to provide a positive environment
for learning and nu7turing community values in a small school
setting. We are a school of approx. 173 students.
The basics of the children's scholastic needs are met by the Catholic and State Education Departments with all other needs to be funded by the school community.
How will the funds be used?
Funds will be used to enhance our school environment, making it more stimulating for our children and to protect and further improve our natural environment.
Key Areas of Expenditure
Cabling of gum trees to protect children from falling branches.
Replace rotting sleeps around small garden beds.
Purchase a small tool shed and garden tools to enhance the activities of the gardening club and to futher develop and nuture an interest and hands on experience of maintaining a garden.
Create an outdoor art area by placing various drawing boards (eg. magnetic, chalk) along fence line for children to create on.
Upgrade of tables and benches in playground
Repainting playground surface with games and activities ie. hopscotch
Replacing old sports equipment by purchasing softball bats, ball gloves, cricket equipment, basket balls and other such sporting needs.
