Multi-award winning, not for profit, non core funded, Naragebup Environment Centre hosts the annual WA Environment Festival. The theme for 2008 is Winds of Change. It will be held on the 29th and 30th of March. We are raising funds to continue this tradition of free entry and access to environment information.
EEEEK! We have no confirmed funding to put this special event on in 2008!!! And it is the 10th year - so it has got to be really, really special!
Just think, without our natural environment - what have we got?
There will be a wide range of activities, performances, eco-educational displays and events. With over 50 stall holders and 12 performance groups to entertain throughout the weekend This vibrant event provides excitement and stimulation, whilst focusing on quality of life options. Traditionally 10,000 people visit over the weekend enjoying the opportunity to get up close and personal with some of WA's unique wildlife, learn about their environment, see, touch, hear and taste (lots of good food stalls here).
This event is free entry, non smoking, no alcohol and lots of fun. It is set in the 1.7ha naturally beautiful grounds of Naragebup, a place of natural encounters. It enables a joining together of community stakeholders, from big business to hobby groups, showcasing ideas, aspects and innovations in environmental care and protection.

Key Areas of Expenditure
To hold the WA 10th Annual Environment Festival. As it is mostly run by experienced volunteers presenters, such as Kanyana Wildlife, and promotional activities consume most of whatever budget we have. Help us to provide people with an extraordinary experience and the opportunity to enhance their lives, naturally.
