The Nature Conservation Council of NSW is a non-profit, non-government
organisation. Established in 1955, we are the peak environment group for
NSW.
Our precious natural environment is under threat from climate change,
mining, logging, water shortages, bushfires and development pressures.
Our aim is to conserve nature and protect the water we drink, the air we
breath and the places we love.

capacities of community environment groups
Advice: Our reputation as a democratic, representative organisation
allows us to have input into legislation and government decisions on
behalf of our member groups and the environment.
