About this cause

The impact of Climate Change on our Planet and the need to protect our Marine Environment is now at the forefront of International Discussion and Causes.  Marine Conservation is a fast growing field. The need to acquaint young people with both theoretical and practical knowledge at an early age has thus become paramount in order to give them an opportunity to go on to further engage by volunteering, further studies, or by entering a career in the field.

In addition to equipping young people with basic knowledge and practical experience, New Beginnings also conducts field work in collaboration with regional Universities - Griffith and James Cook University - providing their Marine Science Interns with field experience via its programs.
