What’s Not – The Trishna and Krishna Fundraising Scam

A fake charity is pretending to raise money for Trishna and Krishna, the conjoined twins who were successfully separated last year. Consumer Affairs Victoria has warned that people should be wary of callers asking for $20 donations to bring the twins’ mother from Bangladesh to Australia for a visit, and asking householders to supply credit card details. Moira Kelly, the legal guardian of the twins has expressed her disgust at the scam.
