ANGELINA JOLIE

Travelling as the personal envoy of UN High Commissioner for Refugees António Guterres , actor Angelina Jolie this month visited Mohib Banda village in northwest Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region and areas near Peshawar. Her visit was to highlight the suffering of millions of flood victims and the need for continuing aid for the displaced.

Ex-AFL footballer Shane Crawford walked from Adelaide to Melbourne this month to raise money and awareness for breast cancer support. His “That’s What I’m Walking About” campaign involved walking 760 kms in 12 days. Supported by the Nine Network and The Footy Show , Crawford raised more than $400,000 for the Breast Cancer Network Australia.
