According to reports, the father of Amy Winehouse plans to set up a foundation in the late soul singer's name for people struggling with drug and alcohol addiction.

Mitch Winehouse announced he would start the foundation after the funeral of his daughter, whose successful music career was largely overshadowed by her alcohol and drug abuse.

Additionally, the Fred Perry website has announced that proceeds from Amy Winehouse's final collections for the fashion label will be donated to the soon-to-be-established foundation.

"All the money we make and the donation that Fred Perry will give will go straight into to the Amy Winehouse Foundation which we are setting up to help children and young people in her name", Mitch was reported to have said.
