RSPCA Cupcake Day

Cupcake Day for the RSPCA is being held on Monday 15 August 2011 and according to the RSPCA, is the biggest bakeoff in the Southern Hemisphere.
Cupcake Cooks around Australia bake cupcakes and host a Cupcake Party to raise vital funds for the RSPCA. Last year, the RSPCA raised $1.1 million to assist in the care and protection of the animals of Australia. This year, they want to set their goal higher with a target of $3 million.
Cooks are reminded to never use cage eggs in baking and use only eggs from free-range happy hens or use egg-replacer. Using an alternative to dairy milk such as soy or oat milk will also ensure that your cupcakes are doubly cruelty free!
