Here at OrphFund we are running projects around the world that benefit the lives of abandoned, orphaned and vulnerable children. We are currently working in Cambodia, Kenya and Sierra Leone where we have established Children's Villages that provide shelter, support, health care, a nutritional diet and education. This work is ongoing and our aim is to make each program self sufficient empowering the local communities to stand alone and assist themselves. Future projects are planned for Uganda, Haiti, Mozambique and India.
How will the funds be used?
100% of any donation will be directed to our work with children. We are purely volunteer based allowing your donation to have the biggest impact possible. (Please note for child sponsorship all of your donation will be sent to the home where your child stays.)
Key Areas of Expenditure
Feeding the children
Paying local care workers
Covering school fees
Purchasing clothing and school equipment.
Investments in local enterprise such as bread ovens and rice plantations to help generate a vital local income.
Funds may also be used in the set up cost of a project (building materials, labourers, etc)
Are donations tax deductible? No
Will I receive a receipt for my donation?
