About AusArt Day (Thurs 23 Oct, 2025)
AusArt Day is a nationwide, sector-wide fundraising initiative designed to mobilise artists and arts organisations to raise funds for their work and creative ambitions on a single, powerful day. This unified call to action aims to amplify the visibility of arts philanthropy and inspire greater generosity across the country.
AusArt Day recognises the vital role that the arts play in our communities and champions artists and organisations dedicated to creative expression. We encourage you to have a look at the other incredible recipients and donate to their causes too - especially regionally based youth arts orgs!
This new program is an invitation for everyone to give back in a way that directly impacts the future of arts and creativity. It’s not just about financial contributions — it’s also about sharing and recognising the incredible work of artists, educators, performers, and creators who enrich our world every day.

OTYP is trying to raise a grand total of $10,000.00 for AusArts Day this year - and we'd LOVE your help!
How your donation will help OTYP
Outback Theatre for Young People is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to delivering high quality and accessible professional arts experiences.
You can play an integral part in delivering high quality arts outcomes to young people in regional, remote and rural areas across South West NSW, and beyond. All OTYP outcomes are created with and by young people, in their own communities.
Any amount is appreciated (one off, or regular), and here are some examples of how your hard earned money can be put to great use:
$10 - provides morning tea to three participants during a workshop
$50 - goes towards keeping our supplies in tip top condition (all locally purchased where possible)
$150 - fills up the tank in the OTYP ute so we can visit these beautiful regional centres (we are on the road A LOT!)
$200 - helps with running workshop costs and employing amazing Australian artists
$250 - allows us to purchase subsidised tickets to a professional production for up to 10 young people
$300 - larger donations mean we can spread our wings further, visit more communities, plan more projects, and engage young people in even more creative opportunities
Thank you. We are SO grateful for your support.
