Pacific Black Box Project

Pacific Black Box works with Pacific Island communities to produce community based digital resources in creative learning environments.

In October 2011 Pacific Black Box worked with young people in Bougainville to respond to local health issues through the production of their own audio and visual resources.

These resources included the production of a short film about a new centre for women experiencing domestic violence, and a radio program focusing on the recent cholera outbreak in Buka.

This project was successfully carried out with the amazing work of our partner organisation, Hako Women's Collective.
