Equip an Artist - Performance Space Appeal 2011

Performance Space is Australia's leading organisation for the development and presentation of interdisciplinary arts. Artists have always been at the heart of our work at Performance Space. Each year we support over 500 artists in many ways - from presenting and touring new work through to residences, talks, publications and workshops.

The artists we work with expand the edges of our culture. They work across artforms and engage audiences in authentic and transformative experiences. These artists are asking important questions about the nature of art and the world we live in.

Performance Space needs your help to extend our support for artists. For our 2011 Appeal, we are asking our supporters to help 'Equip an Artist'.

How will donations be used?

• $5,000 provides precious support, equipping an artist to deliver a project from inception to realisation.
• $1,000 is the key to equipping an artist with a residency/studio providing space and time to develop new ideas.
• $250 equips an artist with a fee - contributing to their professional growth.
• $ Follow your heart. Whatever amount you can give - small or large - makes a difference.
