Torchbearers For Legacy
Provision of care and support to the widows and children of Australia's deceased military veterans.
In Western Australia we provide care and welfare to about 6,500 widows and 50 children and disabled adults on a daily basis. We offer support such as the following:
- Programs that help provide basic needs and protection
- Advocacy for entitlements, rights and benefits
- Contributions towards education such as uniforms, textbooks and tuition
- Holiday camps for the widows
- Holiday camps for the children where they can form friendships, have fun and enjoy new challenges
Key Areas of Expenditure
Provision of care and welfare for widows and children of deceased military veterans, such as Grants, Welfare, Holidays and pension consultancy.
Are donations tax deductible? Yes
Will I receive a receipt for my donation?
Yes, it will be issued by Torchbearers For Legacy a little while after your donation.
