At Youth Futures WA we recognise the difficulties that single teenage mothers from disadvantaged homes face. For many of these mothers, living at home with famiy is not an option, which means they face enormous challenges raising their child. We are seeking funds to allow us to develop life skills packages and parenting packages and training for teenage mothers to create independent living skills. We aim to break the cycle of homelessness for the mother and child.
How will the fuunds be used?
Rent and maintenance is provided at a minimal cost to the mother. We will therefore use donations to provide the mother with training and support to ensure she is equipped with the necessary life skills and parenting skills to live independently and care for her child.
